The Resensitization Series is a collaboration of art (by John Derenzo) and music (by Blackfoot U-Ahk) fused to bring the audience to an awareness of the increased violence nationally and world-wide, as it slowly becomes the norm of the day, and we become more and more desensitized. Our empathy level appears to be reaching its limit - maxed out. This norm no longer shocks us, awes us, or interest us – until, unfortunately, we’re impacted directly. We must become resensitized to the violent conflict within our communities, within our families, and within ourselves. We must bring peace and tranquility to our planet. We must become resensitized
